Bellamy has a side with many reserve graders and he gets them playing to their best... Moore has a far superior squad

PERSONNEL IS NOT THE PROBLEM

we have a squad of players with better potential this year than the squad of 2009, yet we got to the qualifying final that year

just like the last half of last year, this year we are lacking attitude. the potential is fine

there are exceptions however, in 2009, we had one of the best halfbacks in the comp leading our team around the park. he made everyone aware of what was coming and where to be and he did his job really well, more often than not

his direction and leadership, coupled with the correct attitude from the squad on game day in the majority of the facets of our game structure back then, put us in good stead. hannant and eastwood were also on fire. they set the platform for ennis and noddy to do their thang

last year however, we copped a stack of injuries to our prop forward stocks and from what i could see, in trying to compensate for that, ennis and noddy got away from their game that was really good in 2009 and everything else seemed to fall apart from there across the park.

plays became too flat for what we were running with and ennis was also trying to do too much in an effort to also help the situation, which also stifled noddy. our pack (what there was of it) had little to work with off ennis and noddy trying to do too much and the backs hardly saw the ball, especially after we lost roberts for a long time to injury

the attitude started to drop and the coach didn't fix it and it hasn't changed bugger all this year either

we don't have an experienced top quality halfback leading the team anymore and we have poor attitude and coach moore doesn't seem to know how to fix it. we've lost tolman and our ballplaying backrow is not happening.

we need to wipe the slate clean/go back to the drawing board - start again. nothing is functioning at the moment

That's what 2009 should have been for!

what do you expect with pretty much a brand new team

brand new halves combo
a few new back rowers

takes time to gel which is quite funny because we started the season out on fire. I'm not worried as long as we stay in touch with the top eight (which we will because newie play wests tigers only one of them can jump us - we'll still be 8th)

they have put in good performances this year and are capable of playing better.. who knows if they will but ive still got hope.

New team or not, we still arent going forward. Some of our players are too old and slow. Need to cut them loose.

we had a new team in 2009 and we almost got into the GF - we look like a disorganised rabble? who is meant to be the half back? I think keating is the 7 and if he is, he is not the answer - hodkinson needs to take charge more.....he is playing a five eight role and that is not his strength,,

and people that talk about roberts being the answer....we let go a guy called Aidan Sezer - that will come back to bite us because that guy could have been the answer....that will come back to haunt us..like how we let Thurston leave....another ****en mistake,,

Crap attitude last night, to make first grade is an honor and it looks like some of them doubt themselves, they need to relize they have made the same level as Lamb, Folkes, Gearin, Tunks, Langmack etc and they are the new Sonny Bills, Tongas and O'Meleys that showed no fear and went out and threw the ball around.
They are there but don't relize it, the work ethic is something they should enjoy and challenge themselves to achieving, we gotta instill some desire into these boys so they can focus without losing concentration.

Should have busted the bank to get Bennett when we had the chance in 09! But we where always gonna get moore, now look whats happend. suck s%#t management.
It was known about August, 08 that Bennett was leaving the Broncos and there was a number of clubs linked to him.

Insiders have said, both current players at that time and former players from the Dogs said that Bennett would not get a
look in and Moore has got the job.

When it was announced that he got the job not one of those 'insiders' had anything good to say about his coaching credentials.
Bluntly they said he couldn't coach. full stop.

Bennett has always had a soft spot for the dogs. Most players, including Price, who could not get into the Broncos squad were always recommended to the Dogs.

The selection process as far as Moore and any other candidate was farcecical to the point that Bennett did not even get a interview.
We didnt have to bust the bank to get Bennett, all that needed to happen if the sole candidate did not have a surname of Moore.

We all know what Bennett has done to St George, a team that on paper did not have the firepower we have now but he is the master at GELLING & COHESION.

Adds up to just about three wasted years.

mate you have hit the nail on the head, we have equal to the best roster and depth in the comp, yet we are playing disgraceful.
it is a coaching issue, we have the players yet we have no structure or game plan.
