Did reni ask for a formal release

Reni Maitua has since asked for a release from the Bulldogs, while star Penrith forward Frank Pritchard has had a request to play elsewhere knocked back this season.

So did reni maitua formally ask for a release? I though it was all speculation and he didn't ask anything.

He has no choice now. The club won't be realeasing him so it is either he knuckles down trains hard and plays up to his potential or hang around with his mates in the eastern suburbs, gets pssed every second week and play NSW cup or with the Bulls
