I think it's actually the air he whistles in through his nose. He whistles it in, fumes about us not completing sets so Tolman could kill the ball on the fifth, the air heats, he exhales and releases it back into the atmosphere.

It's true he's deliberately causing global warming. I saw this one time when he ripped the door of an air conditioned locker room. This caused it to work harder this burning more fossil fuels to provide power.
