2013 a year after the GF appearance? You serious?

The downward spiral started after Hasler got rid of Ennis.

Hasler MUST go first.
I said it 2014 about style ans structures dont suit. Got hammered because we were winning. Look now how many want the nose whistle silenced

Even Mason and Maitua said a few weeks ago that there is no culture there at the moment, they are so disappointed in what the club has become. Club needs to go back to it's roots and Hasler doesn't understand Canterbury. Everybody can see n it accept for the board and Castle...

The board and CEO ARE AT FAULT!!!

They should have seen alarm bells ringing in 2013 and 2015, and they FAILED to act, they gave him an extra year (2016) of complete control.

They're all to blame.
You would think it would have been the right thing to give des total control but des isn't the same coach he was at manly - now it's the boards actions that are important

I agree, initially you'd deem it the correct path to give a successful coach (at the time) complete control. But surely you'd be following on field performances and the retention and release of players and have an ongoing judgement of his abilities?

IF they were doing their jobs and keeping on eye on playing style, performance, recruitment, they would have pulled that control out of him in 2015.

I wrote somewhere about price wanted to be a ceo on day. Get him as a junior ceo with dunn or hagan. Chris Anderson or folksey kevin moore back in some role . We need to re establish the tradition. They also need to separate football and business. Memebership is for fans. Feels more like a money making exercise qhen your a member

You are spot on there....

They gave him everything he requested so he could "do the job to the best of his abilities".

It is the boards job to give the **** the flick and not go around in this media circus

Hasler does not give one flying fuck about Canterbury, never did. He brought all of his Manly puppets here to top up there superannuation funds.

He paid big bucks for Williams and than had the nerve to try and get the **** a contract extension for 4 years of utter shit.

He told Lafai that Floppa was coming around and that his spot was not guaranteed, and he was required to fight for his spot (that is fair enough and you want players fighting for their spots everyday), but the ****'s method was one of the worst dog acts as he knew Floppa would not play Sundays, but he had the balls to say "Fight for your spot". Fight it for what? Against a **** who doesnt play Sundays, and at the end of the day didnt even play in the centres. Lafai was one of our juniors as well!

Trying to move heaven and earth for Foran knowing all the issues the **** had? Why, because he was an ex-manly bum chum.

The **** had a hissy fit when they got rid of Cleal and his bum chums, giving the **** a wake up call to say hey, change things around your on the megabucks. He "promised" he would change things around. All he has changed around are his percentages in his SMSF.

The other point guys about the "cattle" debate is that since Hasler arrived every single player playing RL in the world has come off contract in that time, this is the team he wants! Another point I have is in regards to something no-one has raised yet, this team of ours has been together for pretty much 5 years now, look how we play, compare that to a Storm team who also have a team that is largely unchanged, where is the precision that all team's get from the luxury of un-changed teams and stability.....they play like strangers!

SO.. does this mean these club legends are fair-weather fans or bandwagoners ?
