Defence is somewhat effective until we start waiting back at the 10 and giving up field position.

Defending the 10 is not a problem if as a team you anticipate the general direction of opposition attack and form a wall - we don't do that, we allow them to build speed, drift and get us flat footed.

Our best Defence is when we move collectively 5+ meters forward and attack in Defence, automatically sqeezing the opposing teams attack structures which in turn limits their go forward and limits the ground we must retreat to get back on side.

Our fullback should be the director of our defensive structure calling inside players to shift as he can clearly see defensive lapses, and such structure should be drilled in at training- yet it seems neither has been a coaching priority.
