The Bulldogs signed former Dragon Damien Cook for 2014 and 2015.

While wee were at the butcher's picking up the ham and turkey this morning he mentioned that Damien, usually a fullback, had been training in the hooker position. Does anyone know if this is fair dinkum? And if so does it mean that Michael Ennis could be on the way out or would Cook be no more than a back up?

Probably be a back up since romelos gone. He's probably quick out of dummy half too, something we lack in attack.

Cook and fellow Dragons Brenan are great pick ups to add depth to our squad. Would love Evander Cummins to see the light and jump ship too as they have too many fb's.

You're reading too far into it.

Keep it simple son. Cook is a back up option at hooker and obviously will train a fair bit in that position. Ennis is the best number 9 at our disposal and will be our hooker going forward.

Mick wouldnt have more than another 3 seasons in him. For the time being cook and others are just backup hookers but who knows down the path. Id still like to see carter end up being our 1st ranked hooker.

Im friends with evander's dad who told me, his son wanted to play FB for the bulldogs, and strategically asked for a release from the dragons as soon as he got the heads up about Barba, but for some reason The bulldogs didn't want to recruit him.
He then got an offer from parra and signed with them.

He had massive attitude issues when he was at the Roosters (which is why they werent too concerned to lose him) and both Dymock and Scott Murray were part of the coaching staff there at the time - They are both at the Dogs now so maybe they they raised some red flags
