ok, here's a question for you ladies...how protective of you is your dad?

my dad claims he isn't, but deliberately intimidates any guy i bring home and runs criminal history checks on them lol!

it kills me at times. why can't he be normal lol?

My dad has accidentaly caught me (innocently) with guys and he has shook their hand and smiled...everyone loves my dad.
He even asks me how guys from long ago are rofl

But out of respect i don't flaunt anything around him (not to the extent of being a deceptive liar either..)

I used to be a big daddies girl now im slowly drifting apart..but we still have our bonding moments like bbqs and car talk


Any boy i bring home (havent brought one officialy yet tbh) my father will be cool...it is my BROTHERS who the guys need to fear.

my dad used to be a cop, and he interrogates people still to this day. he wants names, dates and places of birth, etc.

he's a shocker. as soon as he meets them, he makes a few calls and gets a history run on them!
he also likes to make sure that when he first meets them he crushes their hand when he shakes it.

he doesn't do it while he's drinking...he just interrogates people subconsciously.
he stares them down, talks down to them, asks yes/no questions, etc.
