Cowboys Sign Ben Harris
The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have signed 23-year-old Bradford Bulls Centre Ben Harris for the 2008 NRL season.
Harris made his NRL debut with the Bulldogs in 2002 and was a key member of the Bulldogs premiership winning team in 2004.
When Bradford won the English Super League Premiership in 2005, Harris became the only player to have won an NRL Grand Final and a Super League Grand Final in consecutive years.
CEO of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Peter Parr was delighted to have secured Harris.
“Ben is a wonderful young talent who has won two premierships. Following Paul Bowman's decision to retire, centre was an area we were looking to strengthen. Ben’s signing certainly achieves that goal.”
