I’ve been told that we’re paying Barrett 1mil a year. I know it doesn’t count towards a salary cap but doesn’t look good that that’s what it took to get him to come

Dean Pay was on 250K from memory.

I think Barrett would be on 600K and like you said he could possibly double it if the team performs (Which he deserves as crowds/sponsorship/merchandise sales go up).

There is a high probability that Barrett would want to play Cotric in his natural position of wing..
That’s when Cotric needs to be willing to do what’s best for the team..
I hope a chance at centre wasn’t his main reason for coming to us..

If Gildart can reproduce his SL form here it may be a return to the legendary Dogs Entertainers of the late 70's to 1980 where 80% of our tries were scored by our backline. Gildart has speed, footwork and passes better than any of our players.

If hes anything like Gary connolly, we have ourselves a winner.

Josh Morris was a winger also at St George. Cotric killed it at center as a junior and wether you like it or not he’s an international player at age 21. He’s signed here because of opportunity and money no point going back on our word the minute he walks through the door. If he produces like Remis In the centres sure but I doubt he will.
