We should target, it’s a stretch but possible

Cameron Mcinnis ( he is playing lock at the dragons not his preferred position and dragons are having cap trouble )

Anthony Milford ( Broncos will be getting rid of someone to fix there cap issues also. He is still young and Just needs a new environment to spark)

Addin Fonua Blake (Trent Barret and him have a good relationship he will be looking for big money contract soon, try force him early)

1. Milford
2. DWZ
3. Cotric
4. hoppa

I really don't watch many games other than ours. Is this guy a genuine strike centre or another player demanding he play in a certain position.
We paid 600k for a winger

Fix hooker and we are mostly there with Avo at 6 and Hoppa at 1 it doesn’t look bad at all
Hoppa has been massive at 1. I’d keep him there in 2021

Just need a top line hooker and halfback and buy a prop with the spare change

Played fullback when he was younger until he moved to centres in 20s and was regarded as the best centre of his age group, he has only played a few games at centre last year in first grade and he played quite well, he was in line to play centre for NSW but it was widely reported that he only missed out on inexperience.

The guy will be a gun in the centres, the sky is the limit for him.

DWZ?

Elliott will not stay to be a benchie (will also demand too much money for that role).

I have seen so many opposition fans and tv commentators ripping into the Cotric signing as being bad because of our spine. It’s the dumbest argument I have ever seen. Buying Cotric doesn’t mean we can’t afford anyone else and you don’t need to buy players in order. Our backline especially at centre needed a strike player and we got one sure we probably over paid but that’s the realty of our situation.

Who wrote this shit ? Seriously journalism is dead or is this another @Nasheed thread!!

How did Johnston go at fullback for Souths ? Would he would be a better option than Hopa if we play Hopa in the centres ? I'm assuming he'd be an improvement on DWZ.

Would be another case of playing a winger at fullback ala DWZ.

We need to recruit a legitimate NRL fullback for once.

Give RTS a blank cheque, get either a legit half or a hooker or both and build the roster around that.

Thompson, Cotric and possibly Johnston... at least it's a step in the right direction. We need a few positives during the off season. I just hope Barrett brings something different next year however I'm not holding my breath.
I hope Barrett brings Burton with him that's our no: six hopefully at a good price and I think Dufty from St George may be of contract, he would make a great fullback, he has a lot of speed as we will see when we play them tomorrow. and once again I believe we should try and coax Melony back from England theres our halfback, now will only need a specialist hooker and our spine will be a good one with lots of speed & good ball playing.

Like this team except for Wakeham. Not confident in him now. He could take a few years to develop and we can't waste that time. Would go with Jackson Hastings or Matt Burton. They're both better players NOW

Perhaps not entirely necessary however he would be a handy addition on the wing and very capable at fullback if need be. I'd have him over Crichton, Meaney, Smith, Montoya.
And besides he's only 25.
we have only a fee spots and we need to be precious with how we fill them. cant be a winger, we have too many on contract as is

Hoppa is a slug. We need a quick fullback. We need to run off breaks and make the most of half chances and do the slice and dice barba and silva were good at.

We might get that from Averillo or holland, but i think we might be better off getting that from the milf if we can get him or Charles Staines.

I agree 100% Hoppa is O.K but lacks Pace, We need a specialist Fullback with lots of speed & Dufty from the Dragons is our man.

Covers 3 positions, fullback, wing and centre. Better than what we have.

1. Johnston
2. Dwz
3. Cotric
4. Hoppa
5. Smith
6. Averillo

not bad at all. All can play multiple positions to cover injury and suspension
Johnston is a terrible FB, has speed and thats it.

Hoppa has him covered all over the park except for the speed

You can see how he goes this weekend. Besides experience I'm not sure what Johnston offers over Meaney when I think about it. Unless there was no competition for him (I think a few clubs would be after him for a wing position, e.g. Storm) it might not be worth it.

Agree, its a good signing and hopefully attracts some other quality players to the club however if we dont address the key positions we are desperate for ie a 9 a halfback and a fullback, it would be a terrible decision. We havent replaced players in these positions for years, never replaced ennis and never replaced barba, our buying has always been questionable. We bought arguably still the best winger in the game Brett Morris to play him out of position at fullback and dont even start me on the Ennis swap for Lichaa, this 3 million we have could mean to some of the biggest decisions on signings in this clubs history to turn around this current mess so lets just hope its spent correctly.
