I still don’t get why everybody is getting mad first of all we are versing a really good team that people underestimated, including me, we have kinda a new team and a lot of things have changed it’s the first game like Barrett said it’s gonna take time, we not going to be the best team over night wait a bit in a month or 2 we will be doing better and hopefully when Barrett signs some more talent we will become contenders, I can’t believe u guys sometimes, it’s going to take time, just cheer on the boys and let it fall into place

When the team lose like that and the ref played so well for Knights, you have to expect the fans to over analyse the result.

The analysis, and critiscism, has for the most part, all been true and the reality of the situation the team is in.

At the same time, most are acknowledging the things that went wrong, and why, and assessing fairly for the future.

Very few supporters are giving up or wrongly pointing blame.

The players, coaches, refs are being given pass marks, or not, as per their performance. Thats just the way it is.

Doorey offers more than Waddell in the 17. He can actually make an impact off the bench. Waddell is just an over-excited plodder at the moment. I'd even prefer Chris Smith over Ogden or Napa.

I understand we cant have superstars from 1-17 and that we have to fill the squad.

imo signings like Waddell are a waste of space and cap when you have Topine & Doorey.

Hethrington is another one. Club should of re-signed Tolman (yes i know, 4th hitup specialist) on a one year deal and targeted someone else for 2022.

It is what it is, but fark our forward pack lacks punch, mobility and fitness.

Flanagan showed good signs yesterday and will develop into a fine halfback in due course....

Cotric isn't a centres arsehole, and will just fill in this season. No doubt 2022 he and JAC are our wingers

Would rather watch those guys than that imposter of a forward. In case you’re forgetting a forwards role is to make meters. I’ve never seen Tolman run more than 5m, and if he ever did he’d get pushed back another 5m. Even in defence he wouldn’t hit and stick, he’d just hang on and get dragged back. Our most successful forwards like Mason could see he was too small and weak for the front row and thank god Barrett had the same opinion and got rid of him. Nice guys aren’t made for the front row

We dont need a Captain just to speak to the refs. We need someone to direct the players around the park.

Yep....and the ex Warrior forward Isaiah Papailii who played off the bench for the Eels. He ran every hitup like his life depended on it. We need a couple of forwards like that with that type of intensity. I can see why Barrett wanted Spencer Leinu, he has the same intensity. I'm done with Ofa and Renouf, this was their chance to step up and if they couldn't fire up in round 1 and play with the same intensity, they never will, and I'd let them go at the end of the year and sign a couple of hungry firebrands that are prepared to run through a brick wall. The Warriors seem to have plenty of forwards, maybe we can entice Bunty Afoa and one of his mates to came across

I was wrong about Waddell last season at Manly , I thought he would be a handy player and a threat in attack but he was just pedestrian.

That’s not why Barrett brought him over.
