i think hughes may need to go to PL for a week and a player from PL who diserves a FG spot should move up possibly Ngawini...

i hate to say it but everyone goes on about our young guys coming through and they need to replace a few first graders, have you not seen the results from premier league, we are getting hammered so the young guns cant be going that great. If they cant succeed premier league then what makes you think they can succeed in the toughest rugby league competition in the world.

Have a look at our recruitment and retention (or lack of it in the case of Jono Thurston) in recent years and you will probably egree that it has left something to be desired. I'm really happy that we have re-allocated that responsibility in the last week. Now, just one Hughes to go.

Hi i think we do need a new specialised hooker in da priddis and buderus mould i dont see any problems with adam perry been in first grade i look at corey hughes and see someone giving silly penalties away letting soft trys in i think corey hughes is da one 2 b dropped and i think billy ngawini but i dont think his da answer 2 our prays we need 2 go out and buy i specialist hooker and halfback and we need 2 get rid of reni matuia out of 5/8 dats just wrong.

might improve there attrocious defence. There first win against souths the score was 42-36 and b4 that they were beaten by 50 in the other games. But yeh i would like to see us blood a few young guys like ngwani and roberts as iv heard lots about them and it would be good to see how they go, but not at the expense of hughes and perry, we need them for stability.

I have only seen one game of PL and that was in rd 3 against Newcastle. It was obvious back then that ngawini and roberts were definately standouts in that game along with Karawana who has since been dropped down to Flegg.
They were dominant in that game against a team that was on fire but in saying that the gap between PL and FG has been increasing but the way we played on the weekend we probably need a fresh face or two with some young kids that are eager and keen to impress in the top level. Thus putting the other players who have become somewhat comfortable with their position in first grade on notice.
