Connor tracey appreciation thread

Lol funniest thing is hearing anasta just giving it to Buzz on 360 about how good the dogs are going, how good the effects that ciraldo and Gould are having - his discomfort is chef's kiss
And Buzz trying to burn Anasta with his "but you were a Rooster etc etc". Comedy gold. They all bagged him haha.

He's had some solid outings for us, and while I've personally been a huge fan even when he was at Cronulla, today I thought he really stamped his authority as somebody who can be a top fullback in the NRL.
Yes ...stepped outa the Utility Only box yesterday. Big game from Trace.

Glad this thread is available… he’s been excellent for us this year, a real goer and speed off the mark is among the best in the NRL.

Critta and others were exceptional Vs Parra but it was Tracey who beat his man twice setting up tries, he was safe under the high ball and for most of the game bar a bobbled grubber in the second half… he’s turned out to be a great pick up!

One thing that does irritate me is when he made one blemish vs Raiders, a lot of fans threw their toys out the cot, Kiraz made a similar costly error against the same team but he’s Teflon….. let’s be fair to these men, all are putting in, there’s not one player who doesn’t deserve to wear our colours in our active squad and we can’t sh!t the bed when there’s a human error that is often unavoidable…

This team is Fkn humming!!
Agree. We need to have a little bit more faith in the players during games...not just at the end of them (when we win) :grinning:

I don't comment much during games bc we have looked pedestrian in the first half and have been coming home strong in the second.

The coach and team probably have earnt enough respect now for us not to be bagging them at all and just accept they are trying their best under often heavy penalties, injuries etc. These guys are true Bulldogs.

Awsome signing, he showed how good he was at Sharks, so not surprised he is still doing so well, good on him.
He’s always been a very good player, the problem was keeping him on the park for extended periods. Hopefully that’s all behind him now and he continues to shine

I reckon we probably picked him up fairly cheap. Are Shark paying any? We'd actually have close to the cheapest spine in the comp currently. Sexton wouldn't be on more than $400k?
