NRL 360 is only decent when they have actual people who have played the game. The first half of show is rubbish it’s pretty much just the reporters telling us their articles live on tv.
exactly like at least ben iken played the game and i like when benji and good old graham share their opinions because they have first hand experience in the game the idiots hadley, rothfield, hooper and those idiots dont

For example the other week when dufty was signed. Hooper was shaking his head because he knows our attacking woes will be fixed soon.

The media, particularly the news media (including sport), operate on the formula of emotion, drama and controversy. They feel a story should contain as many of those elements as possible. These days there is an ever increasing drift towards hyperbole and confected outrage, to achieve that formula, drive an agenda, and to feed a 24 hour news cycle. A lot of what you read, see or hear needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
As someone who was in media and advertising for 30+ years, you sir are 110% correct!

What they don't understand is that a lot of Gus's time at Penrith was spent digging them out of a more than $90m financial hole. The NRL was about to cancel their licence as they couldn't show how they would be able to pay their players for the next season. The banks were circling and were about to foreclose on their debt, receivership beckoned. Gus went to James Packer cap in hand and arranged a bail out so that Penrith could at least pay their "mortgages" for a year. That gave Gus time to sell of the unprofitable holdings that were doing nothing but pushing up the debt, rearrange the finances and restructure the debt. It wasn't until the end of the second year that Gus would have had time left over to do much work on the football side of Penrith's plethora of problems.

Hello F'WITS, we aren't in anywhere near the same situation, the Bulldogs Leagues Club has enough equity to survive multiple pandemics, no need for Gus to work on anything other than football.

Next, the fools haven't bothered to do their research, they put up a graphic showing Penrith's 5 country players (one of which is Burton who is coming to us). A simple check of our roster would have revealed we have Schoup (Thirroul), BBO (Innissfail), Elliott (Tathra), Jackson (Gulgong) etc. We have always had a history of recruiting from outside metro areas, Gus simply copied at Penrith what we have been doing for decades and continue to do.

Do some farkin research before you sprout off Milkman.

Always a Bulldog
Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs form partnership with CRL and North Coast Region - Bulldogs

This should be in its 3rd year in ops? If so you could Imagine Gould would be all over the revamping/restructuring. Gould in control of the market of the North coast should be healthy in the years to come...

Let me refer you to this old thread Jamie Soward photoshop thread. Which some of our great art work made here on the Kennel made it on the dailytelegraph. Classic, some photos are missing for some reason

We went from wooden spoon in 08 to just missing out on the GF in 09.
(Jmoz, Noddy, Eastwood, Stagg and Hannant)
Roosters finished 13th in 2012 then went on to wining the premiership the following year.
(SBW, Maloney, Moa, Jennings and O'Donnell)

Shows that if you sign players in key positions, especially a good half, you can quickly turn your team into contenders.

We probably need another experienced halfback or hooker to guide the team.

We really should've signed Adam Reynolds.
Barring injuries.we will be in the 8 next year.

Benji and Jammer are always good value. They should have their own show without all the muppets around.
Yep that’s when show is decent! Seriously a footy show with Yvonne, Kent, rothfield, Crawley and hooper is just shit
