if brett stewart can get another 6 or 7 full nrl seasons under his belt he would be a chance of breaking the all time try scoring record.

however he didn't really play last year and it doesn't look like he'll play many games this year so who knows. a bit of a shame

stewart might not have much more of a career depending on the outcome of his case

You have to remember a guy like Inglis is still only 23/24.
He has a good 10 or so years left in the game.

Billy Slater looks most likely for mine ... he could end up near 200 !

Tahu will crack 120.
Patten will crack 100.
Minichello and Merrit slim chances for 100 this year.

Inglis to crack 100 within 2-3yrs
Vatuvei has chance to do same.
Folau needs 3 yrs to crack 100.

Hayne should get to 100 eventually.
Both Morris's to crack 100 each and perhaps eclipse their Dad (122).

I dont think anyone will get near Ken Irvines all time record of 212.

The top 5 are:

1) Irvine - 212
2) Menzies - 180
3) Ettingshausen - 165
4) Lamb - 164
5) El Masri & Sing - 159

212 is such a mission. I think with Brett Morris's strike rate he is the most likely to get it and possibly Billy Slater.

Brett Stewart missed all of last year and is out for the season again. Shame, he wouldve smashed the record.
