We all know that we are paying other clubs for some long serving players to play against us.
Ie:James Graham is on example 600k per season and we are forking over roughly half (just estimates)
But if you have a player like Kaylan Ponga who is on 500k and a team like the Roosters offers him 1m
does that mean 500k comes off your cap.(You have a fresh million to spend?)
I guess we don't have a Ponga and we have paid overs for most our squad but for example if Parra wanted Klem and we have him signed him for 700k a season and they offer 900k a season does that mean we have a further 200k reduced off our inflated salary cap, ie: giving us the initial 700k plus another 200k credit to spend within our cap??
Anyone know the actual anwer without speculating/clutching at straws. Just curious. Cheers.
