lol to be fair other than knowing a trainer I have no idea what’s going on within the club just like everyone else.
You can only make educated Guesses based off what Gus says on podcasts/media interviews.

if Eli Clark/Oloapu just randomly leave out of nowhere it’s either because

1. they aren’t meeting standards
2 they don’t see an avenue to nrl. For Eli Clark is believable.
3. the club doesn’t think they will make NRL.
4. another club reaches out and the club agrees to release them.

I would say in the case of Clark the club told him Sua and Gabriel is who they see the future within.

Seve if true can only be an attitude thing.

Oloapu I guess wasn’t rehabbing properly or something happened off the field. Everything is too quiet there.

I have full trust that Gus Ciro and the high performance team know what they are doing. Unfortunately you will see many more leave as well.

Hearing doc not giving KO a clearance to resume full contact training, ie not allowed to be tackled or make a tackle.
 
No one wants to lose our best prop to chooks 2 of them now but the positive is at least were signing another nsw representative connor votano most likely

He’s so overrated that there was a tug of war between 3 codes for his services, already picked in the junior origin and national teams, won SG cup at captain, signed into our top 30 at only a 17 year old.

Oh did they go on to greener pastures or did he Dogs not want to keep them. I would imagine a bunch on new young players will get their chance now and hopefully we get a couple of good ones. Its strange the Seve brothers are gone as they were locals.
 
@Tone why did both Seve brothers up and leave then? Did they think there path is blocked? Not happy dogs in the market for props? Although that seems stupid given their young age and still a ways off top grade. Maybe you can enlighten us all with some more details if your “in the know”

The comment is not directed from anywhere, so it;s hard to know what you are referring to, but if you mean sign with Sydney, then Woods would have been in Sydney's academy system, which means that Sydney can have the last shot at him. During the draft, if another club wanted to draft Woods, Sydney would have to have enough draft points to "match" the bid & could have taken him if they thought he was a good enough prospect at that draft pick.

Tia is a highly talented player with an excellent attitude. There is no rush with either of them. Tia will play NSW cup this year and Woods jersey Flegg.
if it’s true that Seve has left it’s because he isn’t meeting the elite training standards the club has set. Just because he bumped a few people off in SG Ball and someone made a YouTube video of him doesn’t mean he is going to be an NRL player. He played up in Flegg this year on a few occasions and was caught around the ruck and off the pace.
The club knows they it’s doing our fans just get bizarrely obsessed with players. I guarantee you no one knew who Tia was until that article a few weeks ago now he is the flavour of the month.
listen to Gus on the levels podcast if you want to understand what’s happening at the club. They are relentlessly monitoring players. Gus has 26 players who he thinks can play FG. They will train them hard like NRL players and 5-10 will come through that and play NRL.
it’s a filtering process and if you aren’t up to the task you are out. It’s how you win and become great.
