Ok honestly with the same team as last night can we bounce back and win next week to get a week off and noddy? Or haven't we go a chance? I think last night we didn't play our game, we tried to be like the tigers and throw the ball at every ocasion and try to pull of the mirical pass, that can be fixed easerly but wat about our attacks creativity, taking into account that we were stuffed can we fix it by next week, and can our defence weak spots be fixed

we can turn it around quite easily, we just need to:

complete our first set, put in a good kick

complete our second set, put in a good kick

and repeat

The Toyota cup boys were even worse last night. In the half time relay sprint the first pass was dropped when in the lead. When the almighty groan went around the ground it summed up the night. Unfortuantely it got no better after half time.

I wonder if we can bounce back by possibly winning?

honestly 20 of the threads could be in the same thread and be talking about the same thing. Load of garbage.

We can bounce back.

How? complete our sets, much better kicking game in the opposition 20 and stop missing 40 tackles a game.

We can bounce back easily, just a matter of belief. Now we have trialed DJ, tadpole knows what works and what doesn't and hopefully he can make some constructive decisions on the team lineup next week

Kevin summed it up "We've won 18 out of 26 games and have bounced back after a loss"

Mental note people: We haven't lost 2 in a row this year :D

That's just a bit of hopeful thinking, Dragons hadn't either and they lost 3 in a row recently.

Unless we get off to a great start in the first 20 mins of the next match we are gonners, and same story the week after.

Ben Barba on the bench...

dogs cant play that bad 2 weeks in a row... it was like they had stage fright...

the dogs had a better structure against the warriors when we kept it simple with stagg and eastwood ball playing...

holdsworth got worked over in defence hard and didnt have any time when he got ball in hand...

roberts tried too hard and ended up losing the ball in loose carries..

they are just a few things moore will consider over the week..

A shot of cement, followed by a water chacer. A little bit of harden the f**k up and we should easily turn it around. mentally show up.

Take a look at this game
Without Kimmorely and Roberts.
Play down the middle with Ennis and the forward for at least the first 4 plays.
Dont Drop the ball.
Defend better.
Holdsworth with the clearing kicks.
Our Major issue next week will be with the short kicking game, as i dont see us earning repeat sets with that sort of short kicking.

The Roberts/Holdsworth combination won't be good enough for finals football. Roberts goes well when he has a good halfback steering the team and giving him time and space - Holdsworth is not that type of player, and Roberts overplays his hand when paired with him.

Unfortunately, Barba isn't a half either, and our Toyota side gives no help.

We need to hope we can get the Knights next week and get one week closer to Noddy coming back - but then again Mullen could cause us grief (that would hurt - the son of an ex-Dog ...)

Hold onto the ball and stop trying to do stupid offloads.
Have players in support when running the ball.
Complete the sets and put in a decent kick. Then follow that with a good chase.
Tackle and wrap the ball up.
