The writer of the article was trying too hard to be funny, and too often. Weirdly written article. And whats this bit:

In contrast to the Panthers losing a former NSW playmaker, the Bulldogs get one back in the form of Josh 'Shoulders' Reynolds, back from a four-week layoff for putting Dane Nielsen to sleep illegally in the NRL's showpiece. Big man David Klemmer is back for the big show too.

Josh got 3 weeks not 4, and who did he put to sleep? He just bounced off and the player kept going. he was unlucky to get 3 weeks imo.

That ANZ stat for penrith is meaningless after the cowboys managed to win their second game ever out of 11 against us.
If we can fix our woeful edge defense we should take it.

Also it was Chambers not Nielsen. Neilson did not play an origin game this year. During origin he was in the NSW cup. Only returned to first grade 2 weeks ago.

Yeah, things are starting to come together...timing isn't bad either 6 weeks to finals.
With these boys starting to come back in, if we can get a bit better luck for the back end of the year with injuries...... yep, anything is still possible this year.

Big few weeks ahead.

Another close encounter, we will need to be disciplined and composed under pressure in the final ten.
This is where we blew it last week.
