Top Money Earners who have robbed us in 2022
Thompson worst Pom signing ever
Flanagan what a pussy
Dufty the cat or mouse what ever
Wadell the waffle soft as
Matt Burton you want more money we’ll take it else where you can’t kick for shit
Josh Jackson have you been tapped yet?
Probably could add more to that list but in all seriousness why’s doing with our cap management.
If 2023 was supposed to be a season of hope we’ll flano at 7 and Burton at 6 we are so screwed.
Decision making is cannon fodder.
Kicking horrendous.
Gus get us a 6 and 7 please

Can you imagine what 2004 team would do to 2022 team. Would have to have 17 body bags on the sideline! This team now is pathetic

Its not the players fault for getting top money its the poor management also people don't understand these players are average and will not develop into top class players they have had more chances than winning the lotto .

Actually it’s the nrl and players union fault for forcing clubs to spend 95% of salary cap so Nufties get paid good

a club shouldn’t spend if no quality but what they should do is not allow for front loading of contracts so you spend 50% one year and essentially spend 150% the following year

I actually think front loading should be permitted

It allows the NRL to enforce the stupid RLPA cap floor of 95% but at developing clubs can spend it only on their quality players and then hit the market for real talent in 1 or 2 years time.

Either that, or get rid of salary cap floor for bottom 4 teams.

they should scrap the 95% thing all together. pay people what they're worth. otherwise impossible to get rid of them unless you pay freight which still cripples the cap. total waste of money paying average or below average players more than they deserve. im fine with a cap on how much can be spent, but there should be no minimum requirement

These ideas need further development to help level the playing field each year
