THE Bulldogs will today sack chief executive Malcolm Noad.

It is understood an annoucement will be made around lunchtime at Belmore.

Noad has struggled in recent years to remain in favour with the Bulldogs board.

The club's meek surrender in this year's finals did not help Noad's position.

No replacement has yet been named

Definitely not good!

If on-field performances have anything to do with it - when do the players get blamed? It's everyones faults but thiers?

Noad has done a world of good for the club - if he goes then definitely not a good thing!

Sounds like a load of BS tbh, Noad has been a fantastic ambassador for the club, fighting for it whenever the media gets into us and really trying hard to turn around our image, and doing a world of good for our club, the only reason that makes sense is that the board don't want change and are outing the man responsible for it, well if that is the case, the board should be the ones to take a look at themselves.

PEPONIS DENIES NOAD NEWS STORY
www.bulldogs.com.au
31st Oct 2007 @ 9:54am
Bulldogs Chairman Dr George Peponis has today refuted a story running on a news website and radio that CEO Malcolm Noad will be sacked.

“It is a malicious lie that is totally unfounded,” Peponis said.

“I was taken aback when informed that this story was running.”

“There is absolutely no truth to it and Malcolm Noad will continue to be the Bulldogs CEO.”

The page has been dragged from the Telegraph already. Good Reporting Dean Ritchie. Great career progression.

They said Mason threatened to leave the club, and will leave if Noad doesn't leave.

source: 2GB, will wait until something is official though.

They mentioned other senior players were unhappy and about our club been in a crisis even before the season has started.

Mason says a lot of things. I wouldn't be surprised. Whatever happens the club is always bigger than the players, coachs, admin etc.
