Other reasons players might sign on with a club.

1) they’ve worked with the coach before & love how he brings the best player out in them.
2) they love the GM, they’ve seen the success he’s bought to other clubs and they want to be apart of his rebuild.
3) the club delivered to the player their vision for the future and they’ve bought into that.
4) they’ve won premierships and would like a new challenge at helping a lower ranked club.
5) they’re not able to play in their preferred position where at a new club they can.

There’s others … I’m sure you know there’s a lot more than just 3 reasons ..

Cup centres/ wingers next year will be Wilson, Skelton, Perham, Hayes, Hoffman, Samrani, Gabrielle, Mazzone, Sua, Clark, Afualo. Some will still play Flegg, but pretty stacked, can't see DC being retained despite possibly being the best actual centre from that group.

Based off the numbers he quotes we’d have a top 30 squad with only 15 players in it
