Yes yes I know this is from wikipedia, but it still doesn't sit right.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Canterbury-Bankstown_Bulldogs_records

List of Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs records

Streak Records
Longest Winning Streak

11 Matches, 31 March – 3 August 2002

Now I didn't go to Oxford University, but I'm sure that you get much more than 11 matches happening between 31 March – 3 August 2002. In fact... wasn't this the same period of time we won 17 in a row?? And went for a total of 5 months undefeated (throwing in a round 2 draw to the Broncos plus 2 byes)?

The 17 game winning streak shouldn't count.

How about the most games scoring 40 points set in 2003 (6 I think). I went to all of those.

Yep we were fucking unbeatable... they took our points then we got beat by the faiders the following week who were well outside the 8 from memory, I was at that game. Was shattered at the end of that season

if memory serves me correctly, did we not have a round 2 draw against the broncos,

It kinda feels more like 18 rounds undefeated

And that piece of shit Simon woolford, complained to the Media that they shouldn’t have to play us because we had nothing to lose and might go out and deliberately hurt people.

I was dead set depressed for six straight months after we were done for the salary cap, copped it at work everyday from everyone like I was the one responsible for the rorting! I remember after a few months worth I’d had a gutfull of it and was one snappy bastard from that point onwards.

And he also said that we shouldn't be in the finals. That bloke was an arrogant tosser.

Those at the game against the Bronco's in the final round, would remember the emotion when supporters raced onto the field and carried the players off and sung "we are the champions".

Honestly one of the best moments I've ever experienced at the footy.
