There is an issue that I heard from yesterday that is starting to creep up.
We were too nice with them surrounding Barba, and now they are playing the price is right with us. The Broncos that is.

To put it simple, the Broncos are asking for more now as they are after someone else (and claim 3rd party deals). I assume its KMH. No surprise that this came straight after their rivals the Titans made a play for him.

The broncos wanna bloody buy everyone...barba,KMH,Milford etc..and want to keep Hoffman..these four. players are fullback specialists and can all potentially play in the one squad..now that's ridiculous

the tomorrow joke started from the Maitua signing, and has kind of gotten boring/old ever since.
People didn't realise that with Maitua it was much different, he had a few procedures (behavioural) he needed to go undergo before that signing would go through.

The other thing you said the 171k part not me. My point was that if you think Reynolds is on a low deal your obviously not to well informed on halfback values. If Hodkinson gets close to 300k from us for ONE DECENT year with Manly (no where near the quality of Reynolds) and Sandow when off contract was paid 500-600k (granted by the Eels and again far less a player then Reynolds) and blokes like Mullen & Pearce etc can be paid 500k+, Soward and Wallace 400-600k just recently etc you think that the top 3-4 halfback re-signed for less with no doubt all bar say Cowboys, Storm, Manly interested as none have as good as halfback as Reynolds then I'm shocked.

It will be much like when Johnson hit's the market. He would have plenty of interest and certainly won't be going for less then Sandow, Pearce, Mullen etc. In which he has re-signed.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't A Reynolds extend is contract in late 2012? If so I highly doubt he is on 500k. At the time he was in his rookie season after missing the whole 2011 with a serious knee injury. Offering a rookie with 20+ FG games a 500k contract IMO would just be reckless.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't A Reynolds extend is contract in late 2012? If so I highly doubt he is on 500k. At the time he was in his rookie season after missing the whole 2011 with a serious knee injury. Offering a rookie with 20+ FG games a 500k contract IMO would just be reckless.

I thought he resigned after he won rookie of the year. Keary also got a huge upgrade st George offered him 400k so for him to resign with south's must have got close I highly doubt he would take 100 or 200k less for the love of it. Sam Williams was on 300k and he was playing nsw cup last year.

So due to the lack of play makers coming through the ranks they can almost name their own price.
