The Bulldogs have won back-to-back games for the first time since round 4 with a damaging 38-6 win over the Sydney Roosters at Telstra Stadium.

Sonny Bill Williams was dynamic outwide, scoring a double and causing headaches for the Roosters defence all night.

Brent Sherwin was back to his 2004 form with countless try assists and probing runs while winger Cameron Phelps bagged a double late in the game.

Prop Jarrad Hickey joined the party as he crossed for his own brace of tries.

was good but considering the way the roosters played and the mistakes they made we should of hit the 70's, could improve heaps, but sonny b back at his best i think

He said he played well but wasn't happy with a few of his options. I think he was referring to Shifty sending the play wide instead of letting the forwards go through the middle. Folkesy is a hard task master. I thought it was Shifty's best game since 04. Great game by him and obviously SBW.

Williams was exceptional... strong in attack and defence, dangerous, great off loads, and pretty much as good a performance by a second rower as i have ever seen... unfairly not awarded a try when it definitely looked as if he got to the line... and even if it was not conclusive, should have been given with benefit of the doubt

Sherwin was fantastic... very good kicking game, excellent passing, but the best aspect of his game was his running at the line

that was Phelps' best game in the top grade

Hickey did well leading from the front... i still believe he needs to lose weight

Tonga was very strong, especially in defence

Millard is really developing

Patten, Roberts, Hughes, Cleal and Kouparitsas were good

i was very impressed with the way Wheatley and Morrin handled the front row considering Wheatley has little experience and Morrin is traditionally a second rower

that said, the Roosters were awful and should be lynched by their fans

Easily one of the best games of the year if not THE best performance of the year... they just seemed to glide to victory! The way a number 1 team is meant to play

Best they played in a long time, and without 4 of their big name players plus another couple out injured. The Roosters were truly awful though. This Sunday against the Sharks should be a cracker.

It was great to see a confident comprehensive win over our old archrivals, the Bulldogs were poetry in motion smashing everything in their path, couldnt of asked for a bigger effort.

Great performance. Special mentions to Williams, Sherwin, Phelps, Hickey and Maitua and congrats to Nanai and Wheatley in their first top grade match for the Bulldogs.
