The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will play Grand Finalists St George-Illawarra and the Sydney Roosters over the space of six days in preparation for NRL season 2011.
The Club has a three match trial series for February, starting with a Saturday February 12 hit out against the Roosters at Henson Park, Marrickville.
All three grades will be in action on the day, with a Toyota Cup trial between the Bulldogs and Roosters to be followed by a NSW Cup hit out between the Bulldogs and the Newtown Jets. Then the two NRL sides will take the park, at a time to be confirmed.
The Bulldogs will also hold a fan day at the ground on the day, making for a full day of entertainment.
Six days later on Friday 18 February, the Bulldogs play 2010 NRL Premiers St. George-Illawarra at WIN Stadium in Wollongong. The game will be the Dragons last hit out before flying to the United Kingdom for the World Club Challenge.
The Bulldogs then wrap up their on-field preparations for season 2011 with a clash against the Canberra Raiders at Scully Park, Tamworth at 7.30pm on Saturday 26 February.
"It's been some time since we've played three trial matches leading into an NRL season, and we think that a full program will prepare us very well for the challenges ahead," Bulldogs head coach Kevin Moore said.
"The three teams we are playing are all high quality. Playing both Grand Finalists six days apart is a bit of a novelty and while there will be bit of chopping and changing with line-ups, it'll give us a barometer on where we're at with our preparation."
Tickets for the Tamworth match against the Raiders are already on sale, and are available through the Wests Entertainment Group, or at www.wtlc.com.au.
Ticket information for the Roosters and Dragons trials will be announced as it comes to hand.
