How is it we are blaming Des and Ralene and the Board is getting unscathed?

It was the board that appointed Des, gave Des free range to do as he liked, let him spend as much money as he wanted, recruit staff that he wanted and sign the players he wanted. All this was approved by the Board.

This has clearly been a fail. It was the board that signed off on the ridiculous no Sunday contract for Hopoate.

They have made stupid decision after stupid decision. We need to challenge the board. Make them explain themselves and why these decisions were made. Why is our club structure the way it is? Why does Des have free reign in the football department even though he has had minimal results?

All members MUST show up to the AGM and challenge then, make the Board explain themselves and their decisions. If they feel that their positions are in jeopardy, only then will we get real change.

Until then, we will only get more of the same.

We as a club need to get serious about winning! Currently I can't see it happening! Unless a new board is voted in (maybe). Like others have said the future is looking bleak! Yes the Board has some level of responsibility, but primarily, this is Raelene's problem and the buck stops with her.

The buck stops with the board of directors. They tell the CEO what to do, and give the CEO authority to act.

No way does the buck stop with the CEO before the BOD, that's impossible.

Voting is at every second AGM the only way the members can convene a vote is by getting over 1000 signatures to call a vote but that will never happen.

There is only around 4000 football club members at the minute and its written into the clubs charter that you need 1000 signatures to call a extraordinary annual general meeting.
You don't get voting rights with the memberships that the club advertises everywhere its just a gloried season ticket.
To be become a voting member you have to need to be endorsed by 2 members and then wait 3 years until you're eligible to vote.
