news to me too. I though he was going to Japan.I Didnt know that Andrew Emelio went to the panthers??? Interesting
I don't know about costing less but I agree on preferring him to Crocker. The kid is twice as good as that old grub and can improve even more.I rather have him then Crocker. He would cost less and has a bright future ahead of him.
It's on the article about Penrith's two teams for the trials.I Didnt know that Andrew Emelio went to the panthers??? Interesting
I would of thought that jeremy smith would of been a nice fit in the blue and white, happy with stagg, but thought smith has bit more to offer, yet at the time reni was staying so i suppose we can discount not buying any back rowers that went to the open market.Talking about recruits.
...
Another official at another time did say that of all the players that went on the open NRL market (as in wanted to leave their NRL club for another NRL club) that we picked up all the best players available except for Folau.
Other interesting and positive stuff said too, but that's for another thread.
Great to hear. Thanks for the info.Talking about recruits. I happened to bump into a prominent Bulldogs official last night (no name dropping sorry). We spoke about a range of things and all very exciting for the club. Anyways he was telling they only missed out on just one player they chased. Contray to all the rumours being spread the only players they went after were Morris, Kimmorley, Ennis, Hannant, Hodgson, Goodwin, Gordon, Stagg and the one they missed was Lima.
So it shows that Moore and Greenberg have good capacity to draw in players to the club. Players are now queuing up to join the club, Moore and Greenberg both have excellent people skills and the player managers are now wanting to deal with us again.
This official pointed out that the only tabloid hack that rips into us now is Weidler and asked when was the last time Wilson or Rothfield slagged us.
