They match us in the backline and in the Props.. decent lot there out of all of that, could be a good test for our backline and 2 machines in O'Meley and Asotasi.

They don't match us at 7,9 or 13 and on the Bench, that is where we will win it, we have Shifty, Lobster and Reni and of course the rolls royce of benches to finish it off... :D :D

Lol at every one who reckons Holdsworth is as good as or better than Lockyer. Hodges and Patten is close, Hodges a good runner but how good is he under the high ball?

Holdsworth has been in much better form than Lockyer, who has been pretty crap.

As if, Lockyer has been playing the number 6 and number 7 for the Broncos for ages, he is probably the most relied upon player in the comp.

From what I've seen the last 4 weeks, last week was his only decent game.

Hodges is not better than Patten at Fullback A.A.D. Just because he had ONE good game at fullback means jacl****.

Lockyer and Holdy tie ?

Come off it mate.

I gave them Lockyer, Hodges, Webcke, Hannant and a tie between Berrigan and Grimaldi. Berrigan offers more in attack but Grimmers is a better defender. I'd have Webcke over Shrek any day of the week and Hodges is a better player than Patten. Sure Patten has had an awesome year but we can only compare what Hodges has done at fullback and he blitzed them last week. He hasn't played there for a few years but it was always his preferred position. Minichello's rising in the game kept Hodges in the centres there.

Well how else can you compare the 2 ? Even if we compared the years they have had Hodges has had a better year than Patten in their respective positions. I gave it to Hodges but not by much.

There are so many good match ups. If you are going on recent form, Dogs would win most of them, if you are going by overall as a player then it would be difficult to choose some.

As for Hodges, one game or not, I think he brings more to the FB role then Patten. Not saying Patten isnt good, but Hodges is more dangerous when he has the ball. IMO.
