Won't be announced til end of the year, but on very good authority Bud is a done deal to the Dogs.

We were never interested in Hunt, apparently it was all a smokescreen to get Bud on board. Gus has been chasing Bud since last year and rates him highly, and Bud himself has not been happy at St George for a long time.

Hope I'm wrong because I don't rate him but the word is strong... should be announced end of season.

It would depend on what Gould @ CC think of his potential, in comparasion to OK Rajab BBO and Hayward, so I guess the more potential 1/2's at the club the better chance of finding the 1 we need. I'd forget about signing that superstar 1/2 because its not going to happen.
Not sure if Gus is the best around at judging potential talent these days.

Exactly right, that's why I'm leaning towards Cogger, would leave money for middles, he has matured, cool head and looks physically solid. Hazelwood from Sharks an Lindsay Smith from Panthers are looking good. Love to get Haas.
