Just thought some people might be interested but Darren Britt is coming out of retirement :grinning:

They are playing a Group X v Group XI game in Dubbo to mark 100 years of Rugby League where they will also name the all-time Country team. Players like Steve Mortimer, Clive Churchill, Mick Cronin etc are all up for nomination.

Well Darren Britt, being a former Orange CYMS boy, is leading the Group X team (Orange, Bathurst, Lithgow etc) against a David Peachey lead Group XI (Dubbo, Narromine, Wellington etc) side at the end of April.

I'm going to head to the game and see how Britty is doing.

LOL so did I Hani... I was like he'd be 40 now... ;)

Great news to hear for our centenary and to those who go, you will need to post up scores and update us on the match as it should be a really great event and I for one would love to hear about how it went.... :D

I read that April 30 is going to be the day of celebrations.

They will probably play the game that day as its a Wednesday and the players won't be away from their clubs for too long.

Mario was on the local news promoting it. Deadset had no idea...

I'll get a few pics of Britty and put them up here.

I'm sure I can capture at least one offload :grinning:

Though he always dumped the ball out the back to no one in particular, I always hated it when he did that.
