Why hasn’t the club got Meaney training with Pattern? Don’t get me wrong Meaney is a good young fullback, but needs to learn to follow the ball in attack and run off the hip of our forwards.. Meaney is quick and 9 times outta 10 if he runs off the hip and backs up like the General or even Rod Silva he will score tries..

Weve been crying out for a halves coach since the Des era.. didnt get one then, still havent got one..

Meanwhile Roosters still.have Andrew Johns as halves coach even though theyve got experienced premiership winning halves..

Ir just makes sense having a specialised halves or fullback coach considering how inexperienced our spine is..

Make him the specialist fullback coach, try and get Meaney to run a little wide on kick returns and see if he can get around the defense sometimes.

We don't necessarily need the general.. we just need someone with at least half a brain.. support play is one of the fundamentals of the game and is not limited to just the full back..

We have severely struggled in this area since 2012 and no one is addressing the issue..

They go into robot mode, don't expect an offload and often give on the play too early.. and never push up in numbers

Shifty or noddy probably wouldn't even need more then to be asked. Shifty is a bulldog through and through and noddy has a real soft spot for our club.
Cogger and Lewis could learn everything needed to become great halves from those 2 fellas.

Johns works with a few clubs I believe.

Players are definitely pushing but falling on deaf ears.

Too old. After the age of 40 players slow down consierably and become injury prone.

Besides that, hes been out of the game for 7 years and wouldbe completely out of tune and would need months to get back into full fitness. He may not refind his rhythym. As it was he tripped over a thousand times in attack. Nasheed.
