From what I've heard, it's all rehab / physio to get back range of movement, and it wasn't like a damaged ligament or anything.

If it's the same surgery Hodkinson have, from memory they remove ones of the ligaments.
Trent had a ligament removed? Pretty sure that didn't happen lol. He had stem cell surgery to repair cartlidge as the joint was bone on bone. Woods and Burgess have also had the same surgery. Jmoz is the one that doesn't have his PCL in his knees anymore.

This is correct
Although I think in previous surgeries hoko had ligaments removed before they decided to try the stem cells

What is it like 4 weeks ago when Brett was doing sprints with the rest of the team. There is still 2 weeks till our first game. If Hasler said he will be right to play round 1 there is no reason to doubt it.
I think there is more chance of Hoppa missing round 1 as his injury is more recent and I would suggest either Stanley, Phillips or Holland will replace him in the centres.

That's the one!.. That's why I said "IF" and "From memory", as I wasn't 100% on that.

Greg Inglis has apparently had a similar thing, except in his case the PCL is already removed, and his knee is bone on bone (even after stem cell treatment). Speaking of which I can't see his knee lasting the season.

No running just in gym and rehab champ will start within the next week or so.the sooner abbey improves as a footballer the better it is for Brett. For the next 5-10 years 3 players are secured to be in our spine
1.Abbey
6.mbye
9.lichaa.

Lichaa is in for a huge year and I was really impressed on what I saw from him on the weekend,it was the plan all along from des to make him a tackling machine, and then giving him free reign to do what he thinks is the Best option will be a top 3 hooker.great signing

It's a little sad how excited we are about Abbey when he's still at least a season away from regular fg.

How we've managed to not lure a decent specialist fb is beyond me, our club, coach, and facilities should have players lining up at the door.

I hope hoppa is our answer this year, I can't see Brett Morris being able to handle the physicality of the position week in week out, especially with an origin series to prepare for.

So realistically what fullbacks did we miss out on apart from all the wishing and hoping that went on in here?
And don't say RTS was never an option

realistically we should have signed inglis, tedesco, milford, morgan, slater, tuivasa-sheck, dugan, moylan, munster, coote all at the same time just to give the team some options

I agree Inglis, Dugan, Tedesco and Coote may of been options at some time (though when Inglis pulled out of Brisbane we were grooming Barba). Coote was an option most people probz said hell no to cause of his injury concerns. So really only Dugan we fluffed up badly with. Arguable Tedesco too, although he ended up not leaving his club either.

Not really. Milford wanted to go back to Brisbane.
RTS wanted to go back to NZ.
Slater hasn't left Storm. Neither has Munster (though word is we did try two times)
Moylan hasn't left Panthers.

Obviously taking the piss though if you think about it.

So really only Dugan we screwed up badly with. Our club has kind of steered away from the Dugan, Ferguson, Carneys etc in recent time. Although I think we can see Dugan seems to have grown up and would of been a great buy.

Arguable Tedesco too, although he ended up not leaving his club either.

Well there were plenty of options available over the last few years...but the club decided to sign Fifita and the those brothers on big money and even then they still didn't come hahaha
