I think I underestimated both how good he was/is and the impact he has on the rest of the team.

Just seeing him alongside Josh Morris just instils me with a huge amount of confidence in both attack/defence. His ability to put himself in the right position is amazing and a relative of mine who's a Dragon supporter sent me a text throughout our game v The Roosters and said he felt he was one of the best wingers ever - he's certainly right up there.

I think those that undervalue a wingers contribution only need to look at the likes of him, Mansour, Rapana, Trbojevic etc. to see the impact they have on the modern game.

Probably doesn't deserve its own thread, but throwing some love directly at the BMoz.

I think many including me got a bit sick of him seeming like he never actually played.

Now that he is back and in form I just hope he can keep it up.

With Beastwood back we are basically at full strength.

He's not even fully fit yet. Still has some speed to get back and once he does maybe hel shift to fullback. He would've stopped the Mitchell try if he was at the back.

9 out of 10 fullbacks stop the Mitchell try. Hoppa's poor agility/speed has been exposed several times with his last line defence, none worse than when Clint Gutherson strolled past him.
I think Bmoz will be our fullback in defence when match fit

Well said mate. BMos is not at full pace, far from it - hope that comes back.
Hoppa is slow and easily gets stood up at the back in D.
We need a specialist quick fullback.

I think brett's move back to fullback is gonna depend on how well rona performs in the centres in the next few games. If he keeps performing like he has it'll be hard to move him back to the wing and hoppa to the centres and things will probably stay as is.

The issue is the missed tackle that lead to the break not so much a fullback stopping a runaway player 1 on 1 ,I think our balance is really good atm and no need to change

Yeh that's why I suggested he only play fullback when in defence. So Bmoz is responsible for kick returns and as a last line of defence - 2 attributes he has all over hoppa- and then back to wing when we have the ball

Except Hoppas positioning and organisation is much better than Brett. Hoppa is overall the better fb, Morris is the better winger and Rona is potentially a star prospect at centre. The side is much better with those 3 players in those positions. Hoppa can move from fb later down the track when we actually have a real fb that cab replace him.

Wasn't happy with how easily Mitch Pearce caught him but then I remembered he's only 2 games back from a serious lay off
I love the guy and feel like we can score from anywhere when he's on the field
Best winger in the world easily when fully fit

Eden burned him when we played the broncos. He does look a lot slower atm.

If Hoppa can learn to not approach a player who has made a break too straight and fast and therefore have to plant his feet when they're a few metres away meaning they can easily round him, that'd be great.

Still needs to be fullback, but has to fix that major flaw. Morris needs to be in his position.
