Brett Morris, a waste of money?

Brett morris missed a big part of the yr thru injury and origin. When he was out there I thought he was one of our best. Needs to improve on positioning in defense slightly but is sharp and a real weapon in attack.

Technically our spine is pathetic.

We have a 2 hookers who if allowed to play their natural game would be absolutely amazing but are completely stifled into tackling/pass machines, two halves that have absolutely no clue what to do in attack and have weak kicking games and a winger for a fullback.

The only reason we made the GF in 2012 is because our forwards actually offloaded and Barba was by far and away the best player that year. With our structure we could make Hayne look like sh!t

BMoz is not a fullback plain and simple. If you have played football yourself and/or understand the ins/outs of a fullbacks role then even blind freddy can see Bmoz isnt a FB.

In attack, he is hardly where he should be, doesn't have the vision like Slater or Dugan or RTS etc. In Defense, yes he stopped tries but his positioning was embarrassing which allowed an 18yr old hb to catch him out with small kicks into our in goal area which put us on the back foot. 2 examples of so many.
He should be on the eing and replace Perrett and bring in a ball playing FB..

Jeez what a knee jerk reaction. There was a passage of play where BMoz, made a try saving tackle - about the 3rd or 4th by this time, then had to sprint back 30 meters to clean up a kick through because Perrett hadn't dropped back on the 5th. He has had a stellar year out of position - but I agree, optimally he would be on the wing with JMoz with a Tedesco or Moylan out the back

If it wasnt for BMoz we would have ended our season the week before, so i dont agree with the thread at all. The problem isnt the players, we have good players, its the coach. No game plan. All year we look lost in attack, and have some of the fastest and attacking players in the NRL. Des is a myth.

I'd say it is relatively hard to get a good game plan when one of your halves is erratic and one went missing from about round 25

I think Brett along with Rona has been the buy of the year . Would rather a specialist fullback and move him to the left wing with his brother .
