But it’s just a fluffy story. Would have been better if a player was quoted as saying something like:

“Yep our last panthers assistant coach worked out great, didn’t he ??”

It’s like déjavu hearing all the same things with Baz when he signed up. I hope I’m wrong and Cirro goes well but just in case I hope pottsie sticks around so he can take over again.

I was walking out of Suncorp Stadium in disgust after we got beaten by the Knights in Magic Round and got talking to Braidon Burns who was leaving at the same time.

He spent the better part of 5 minutes assuring me exactly how good a coach Trent Barrett is and his comments in this article are almost an exact replica of what he said during our conversation.

I'm optimistic about Ciraldo however I also would be lying if I said that reading this didn't terrify me a little.

That means that if he stayed at Dogs there would be no impetus (or ability) to change and aim higher.

Now, we are well and truly on the way up.

Baz didn't accept mediocrity, he created it. What Potter did with the same team proves it.
