Let's hear some bold predictions for the Bulldogs for season 2022.
Could be anything from.
where you think we'll realistically finish on the ladder?
A breakout player?
The kennels new whipping boy?
Another shock signing or release?

Ok, great topic. Time to register all the usernames for those saying we won’t make the 8. If we don’t make the 8, it will have nothing to do with the squad. It’s all on TBaz

Patolo to come on in leaps and bounds, it can only be a good thing for him to have big Willie and Vaughan showing him the way, speaking of Vaughan i reckon he will kill it this year looks up and about the big fella.
Top 8 depends on if Mahoney comes over early if yes we make it, otherwise we're in the mix for 8,9 or 10th.. will be glad if i'm wrong and we exceed this expectation.

One thing is certain, after all these buys there is massive pressure on Barrett to deliver the wins.
That’s a good thing.

We have a top 8 roster with (as Bulldog 1966 says) big reasons why Vaughan, and all the other forwards for that matter, would be looking to have a good year. (So must Dufty).

The backline is genuinely quick.

Over to you Trent.

Paul Alamoti to be starting centre right from the start

Cook to be given the 9 and win rookie of the year.

Flanagan starting 7 and staying there all year.

Vaughan prop of the year and makes NSW squad.

RFM being fit all year of the bench with less minutes.

Naden to be top try scorer.

Dogs to make the top 4

I'll throw a couple out there.
* Bulldogs to finish 5th and bow out 1 game before the GF.
* Alamoti will debut and hold his spot in the centres.
* Patolo will be the bulldogs breakout player for the year.
* Some will not like this one but Josh Jackson will either retire at seasons end or take up one last pay day/contract in the ESL or at the Dolphins.
* The Bulldogs will make 1 more big signing for 2023 ... my prediction is Joseph Tapine.
* The Bulldogs will also win NSW cup.

In all honesty we should give the 8 massive nudge in 2022.

In arguably our worst season of all times we were in 7-8 matches before losing late …that’s 14/16 comp points …I’d expect to convert most of those opportunities with this roster of in a similar position

It’s all on Baz now

We’ll make bottom half of the 8.
Shock contender for long term #7.
Hetho will smash it on the edge.
Gus will make a play for Latrell. Try to pry him loose for ‘23, if not go hard for ‘24 come Nov 30.
If number 1 on the list looks like failing poorly by post Origin, Ciraldo will be coach ‘23.
