2024 - Right wing has to be Skelton with kiraz right centre . Critter fullback, left centre xerri with fox outside him . Wilson to put pressure on the right and left wingers .
Why can’t Skelton be a centre? Or even play a 14 type role covering second row and outside backs.

Where do we fit Skelton and Papalii when he is ready to step up?
As much as I love watching Skelton with the ball in his hands and he just looks like a juggernaut, unfortunately his defense makes EQW look like David Gillespie.

Skelton is going to be one hell of a player when he starts to learn defensive patterns.

Papalii is still 19 and qualifies for Jersey Flegg.

Hopefully we can improve enough that we can debut him on the wing until he gets up to speed with FG and then transition to FB.

Yes. I live in hope.

When I saw his hi-light package and stats upon signing him, I knew he was a specialist. Unfortunately he wasn't top 30 and couldn't be used till Rd11.
Worth the wait.
The same here, I have a feeling Crichton won't succeed at fullback and slowly but surely Wilson is firming as the long term future fullback !

Anyone dissing Foxx, fuck guys!
The man is a ferrari who hasn't been let out of the garage except a few times by Burton. If we had a fcuking spine this year who could got him ealry ball or gave him the space he needs, the Foxx would be right up there on the try scoring list. We didn't buy him for his metre eating (e.g. To'o) or defensive skills (like a Morris). He is a genuine try scorer stuck in a shit attacking structure with no genuine hb or fb.
Foxx and Wilson will be some lightning wingers with Kiraz and Burns giving both of them quality ball.
Very much looking forward to seeing if having Sexton running things frees JAC up some more, Burton has been able to get him some space reasonably well (far better than NSW Origin halves), can Toby do even more?

anyone saying wilson over fox has no clue in the fuckin world. don’t disrespect the fox like that u freaks
No but the guy is super keen and the future, fullback, wing and possibly centre, one of the clubs best prospects after a few games.
Burns, Skelton coming along nicely, dont even need Crichten in 24

I like Fox for fullback He direct could direct the backs and I'm sure I heard he would like to give it a go.

Next year if our team plays to potential so much to offer:
1 Crighton 2. Foxx 3. Kiraz 4. Xerri (or Burns) 5. Wilson 6. Burton 7. Sexton 8. TPJ 9. Reed 10. Thompson 11. Kikau 12. Preston 13. Oloapu 14. BBO 15. Topine 16. Morrin 17. King or RFM (if Thompson is gone and King starts). Some points in this squad with speed to burn.....
Imo
Thompson won't be here next year.
Oloapu isn't ready for first grade, needs time in nsw cup playing in the forwards.
That bench is way too light.

He is a quality player, and even more stoked for him as he is a local Noosa Pirate and with Avo leaving next year, he might jag a wing spot and move Kiraz into the centres.

1) Critta
2) JAC
3) Xerri
4) Kiraz
5) Wilson
Not bad, but I would like to start this back-line
1 Wilson
2 Kiraz
3 Crichton
4 Xerri
5 JAC
The wild card Skelton

Great idea, he would be free to roam and attack from anywhere on the field and probably make it easier for him to defend from fullback, CC should give this idea a go soon.
Now...If CC prefers LOUD fullbacks there is no one louder

850k fox
400k Wilson.

No brianer.
Agree.
Yes Fox is a better player than Wilson, but when you compare the two salaries mentioned it’s much smarter to go for Wilson
10% less of a player for 50% of the price in a bit so key position.
