These feathered assholes have the entire sky to fly in but no fuck that, I'm going to walk on the road and make cars brake for me... And WTF is this flying inches from my windscreen when I'm driving?

In my area we have several ponds about and you CONSTANTLY see cars randomly stopped in the middle of the road to let the ducks and ducklings cross the road. It's cute as fuck but annoying.

I'll tell you what's worse than birds... BATS.

Those fuckers shit everywhere and make the most annoying noises of a night.

Around our area it's a new development and birds tend to hang around on gutters and roof tops (or antennas and lightposts) rather annoyingly. I'd like to plant some bottlebrush/grevillias and try to attract some parrots/galahs like we had at our other rental... they were quite good. They also hate starlings/myna birds and will chase them away.

Side bonus is they eat crickets and slugs and other insects (which are a constant annoyance).

Once, I opened my bin and one burst out like a dirty fucken feathered cannonball. I guess the lid closed on him while he was in there ?
And at sunset, the whole towns population gathers in the tree at the end of my driveway and squawks for 45mins.

I’ve seen broads in a bin, but I have to admit, it’s been a while since all the broads in town congeregated at the bottom of my driveway at sunset and sang to me.
Probably more than a year, even.

FMD. Yes! When I was at my in law's in Campbelltown they used to get at least 30 of them in their backyard every evening. No exaggeration. Noisy as hell, though.

He used to feed some of them by hand, too.

Shit yeah Bin Chickens and scrub turkeys are a pain.

Bin Chickens get into everything and spread lice, mites and fleas.
Scrub / bush turkeys scare the shit out of you during bushwalks.
