Best Trilogy out of...

Hi all

Just a debate I have been having with my mates.

Which is the best trilogy out of..

1) The Dark Knight
2) Star Wars (IV-VI)
3) Lord of the Rings


Now - this isn't the BEST TRILOGY thread.. just which one you enjoyed more of those 3 series.

Dark Knight = dont like because of the fake batman, keaton is the real batman
Star Wars = Star Trek is much better includng its own trilogy from star trek 2 to star trek 4
Lord of the rings = Winner by default but ive only seen 1 and i have no interest in completing the series

I watched the LOTR trilogy last weekend. Awsome.

LOTR.. my favourite movies. I know everything there is to know about Middle Earth from its creation to the happenings after the events of LOTR itself, lol. Thoroughly enjoyed The Hobbit, Peter Jackson is a genius. And just saying.. LOTR = 18 academy awards, with Return of the King achieving 11 (the highest ever) and the first movie ever to win all awards it was nominated for. Also, they grossed 2.917 billion dollars

That being said, both Batman and Star Wars are great. With Batman, The Dark Knight was by far the better movie of the 3, and without it I wouldn't really think much of Batman at all.

Star Wars 4, 5 and 6 were best. But they ruined the series by creating 1, 2 and 3. OMG which idiot created Jar Jar Binks.

really? number 4 was by far the worst Star Wars.. also number 5 and 6 had the same recycled story line although I agree they were good. but for mine, revenge of the sith was the best one.

I like and respect all mentioned Trilogy's.

Of all films though, The Dark Night was just awesomeness. The Joker just stole the whole show and made it his own.
