Does anyone remember the time Peter Kelly got sent off very early in an Anzac Day match back in the mid eighties? So early, it was said he beat the bugler off. Hard as nails. Never took a backward step. With a few other tough forwards was the basis of our Grand final wins in 84 and 85.
Geoff Robinson, late 70s early 80s, wasn't all that big but he had a huge heart and every run was 110%. Crowd favourite. He take off for a run and the crowd would yell 'Robbo'. Prop or second row. Cant remember him playing lock but could have at some stage. One other not mentioned yet - John Coveney. Played a lot with Robinson including 1980 Premiership year. Kelly and Coveney both played for NSW at different times.
