THE Cronulla Sharks have signed Wests Tigers winger and Footy Show star Beau Ryan for three years.

Ryan will inform the Wests Tigers later today he will be joining former team mates Bryce Gibbs and Andrew Fifita in the Shire.

His Wests Tigers second-row team mate Heighington is also expected to sign within days.

Remarkably, Ryan agreed to a new three-year contract with the Tigers several months ago.

But the deal fell through at the last minute and no contract was ever signed.

Ryan’s signing is a massive boost for the Sharks, who are desperately need some speed on the wings.

The Wests Tigers star has had his best year in the NRL, winning selection in the Kangaroos PM team to play Papua New Guinea.

i'd assume he is a drug dealer. He can hook all their players up with speed.

Just remembered the Tigers fan who named her son Beau Ryan. She'd be a little cranky.

Edit: Obviously, she's a little off her tree in the first place, for naming him that...

Cronulla will buckle again next year. The d*ckheads couldn't buy a premiership if their lives depended on it.

As if you would sign Heighington, overrated massively and injury prone. But I suppose now that Adam Blair is there they only have room for 1 massively overrated back-rower. Must mean Braith will play 5/8 then.

Funny to see the WT lose all their heart and soul players though, I wish them the worst.

Exactly. They also have Nathan Gardner and Isaac Gordon, as well as Michael Gordon coming over. All speedsters.

Jono Wright and Beau Ryan will keep each other company in the backfield

Too many backs and Backrowers

Stapleton, J. Wright, M. Wright, Leutele, Gordon, Stapleton, Ryan

Gallen, Bukuya, Heighington, Tupou, Smith, Tagatese, Graham (if Carney and Robson play in halves)

Gallen prop
Tupou 2ndrow
Heighington 2ndrow
Lewis lock
Smith gone?
Bukuya bench
Tagatese bench
Graham bench
Prob 1 too many. You'd want a prop on the bench as well as their second hooker (sharks usually play 2).

Ah, forgot Lewis.

Gallen and Gibbs the props? With Fifita/Ross onto bench for Tagatese.
Degois and Morris the hookers.

And by the one of the Stapletons, I meant Gardner.

I think they are just lacking depth in the halves for extra cover...
