Why do peeps like mo have their avatar pictures up when Im logged out but when I logg in all the members avatars are gone?? Am I missing something here

Up in the top right corner click Settings .... find a link that says General Settings and click on that 2nd.

Then scroll down till you find Thread Display options and tick the box that says "Show Avatars" !
