You gotta love Ennis. Every press conference - "as Des said".
sign him for 3 more years Raelene, we'll worry about Lichaa when he gets here.

This year he has been good but go back to last year and look at some stuff he was doing and you'll know why people bagged him. If he has got those things out of his game then all good but I can remember kicks out on the full, dummy half runs on last tackle with no chance of getting over the line and heaps of forward passes.

Infact if he was playing this way last year Des may not even have looked at Lichaa. But if he believes in his ability and really wants to stay at the club he should be comfortable to sign a 2 year deal and his form will get him a further contract

As I wrote in the players rating thread.. on Triple M Sterlo said the big win today started with Ennis taking the right options..he also said that Ennis is keeping Farah 'honest' in relation to the Blues hooking role..
This bloke is a champ..and the oil that makes the Doggie engine purr!!!

Ennis always describes parts of the game as "pleasing" or even "very pleasing"

So does Morris! Desmond must get the players and say 'it would be very pleasing if you could score a try and make many tackles'.

Kind of felt sorry for Ennis when nobody cheered when he was on the big screens. Surprised they didn't show Frankie today.

If he keeps playing well he will get his contract extension.

I heard the Sharks have dropped Lichaa back to NSW Cup again? What is wrong with that club?

Also Carney could be on the outer?

Ennis worked really hard out of dummy half today, frequently advancing the ball out of the ruck before putting it onto the chest of an advancing forward with room to move. I don't believe he gave away a single penalty or made a single error either. I wonder if he is getting specific orders from Des game by game, depending on the opposition. Against some teams he'd get eaten alive playing like he did today...

I'm really nervous that Des isn't going to re-sign him. He's already re-signed everyone else.

Why not just take one year at a time. If his form continues then wel keep resigning. Simple

Ennis still has brain explosions and takes some poor options but he makes up for it with his commitment. That's why he needs to stay in the team for a year or two more.

Reynolds is similar, just has a few extra skills but not as good a defender. He takes some poor options and makes errors but you wouldn't want anyone else in the no.6 because he rips in for 80 every week.

Both played very well to be honest especially Ennis, he stuck to the plan by the looks of it and it helped us big time and he got a rest for it!

Reynolds is hungry for that SOO jumper, you can see it he wants it badly!
