Fairdinkum it seems every player that is off contract or disgruntled is coming to the Bulldogs. Are these all just Jurno beat ups or does anyone think that the Doggies make little lose enquiries that they know will create a headline, either to mask another direction they are really going or something else.

Do you think it could be a master stroke as in, the rumours going around about us and every player going round is actually coaxing player managers to come to us rather than us doing the enquiring with them re players?
For example: Everyone in the world knows we now have huge dollars that we are willing to spend and need a Fullback desperately.
What manager out there wouldn't be breaking their neck to get their player to sign with us, and with a HUGE carrot of playing with a side who have locked up established young talent for the next 3-4 years to play along side, not to mention staff and facilities, the Bulldogs is a team with premiership written all over it within the next few seasons.
This window of opportunity won't be open for ever and the fact it's reported that we are linked to showing interested in every single player going around means that first in with the talent will be best dressed.
This could be a master stroke as the Bulldogs with these rumours going around could have managers falling over themselves to get their player to us before its to late, thus giving us the chance of the pick of the litter. I hope I'm correct.

In the majority of cases its either the media trying to be creative, or just the player's managers pushing up the price of their players, and they have no intention of playing for the dogs.

Still if you were a player manager knowing how much the doggies have to spend wouldn't you be trying to shop your player around at the bulldogs? Considering how bad they need a fullback and or a winger before the position is filled?

Don't see how thats bad for us either tbh. If clubs re-sign their players on inflated salaries it means the likelihood of them poaching our players is greatly reduced.

It's just the huge media machine rolling on. Once upon a time when you actually read your news on this white stuff called paper, it was only released once a day. Now in the digital world news is truly 24/7 and they need something to fill there web pages with content and to keep people coming back regularly, so we see more and rubbish articles. Than to top that off, the bulldogs are one of those rare teams in sport that incites incredible emotion, you either love the bulldogs or love to hate us, either which way it's all emotional and the media love fueling this for their own benefit.

Oh yeah player manager's also love releasing bullshit to the media too.

This can be stopped by the club with a media release " we are not interested in this player" .

I'm saying its a good thing as managers would breaking their necks to offer players to us rather than us having to enquire. The manager will be convincing his players to come to us as they know we have the bucks and they obviously get a cut of the players deal. Time is running out before someone gets the gig. The race is on to collect that mula from the doggies.
