Is he still at the top of his game in Rugby,or too far gone to think about?

I doubt it. Not a great deal of reward there for us. Signing a 35yo who's probably going to need at least half a season in reserves to get up to speed (if he can at 35). Just very little point unless you're incredibly desperate.

I seriously doubt we'd even consider it. No upside at all to signing a 35 year old who has never played NRL

Plus I'd hate for a us to be a rebound for union players who should have made the move earlier on in their careers and not when they're over the hill and looking for one last paycheck.

I'd totes go for O'Connor. He's had 30 or so years to get over niggling injuries. He's probably just as much chance of an NRL debut, but much cheaper.
