you can put the dugan try down to kasiano not moving up.
I would think morris is our best option back there with barba out.

J moz at fullback is a great move. Give him time I like it.
It provides the team with balance.
And lafai deserves his spot.

After watching the replay of the trys, he did back up Lafai for the try.

morris is definitely a threat but it is more of a ball runner role, he can make 10 metres where barba would be stopped but there is no silky moves

and still hasnt been tested under the bomb

Perret at fullback means a complete overhaul of the backline. Not good to be changing the whole structure now.

His defensive reads where not the best (fullback is a very specialist position these days, they do much more then catch bombs). I think he will improve with more time under his belt. Perretts defence and bomb defusing is not great (he seems to catch the ball planted) which will mean he might get smashed at fullback.

We do have untested players to throw in there. But after coming away with the points tonight we might aswell keep the same 17 for next week. Good thing is there will be video of Morrises games and knowing how tactical Hasler is he will be able to review all his positional plays and Josh will be better next week.

There were moments that he may have made an incorrect read but I think there is enough there to move forward imo. But I would not be surprised if hasler puts Perrett at fullback next week.

He was ok, needs to work on his positional play though. Should of been there to make a play at Dugan after he kicked through the defensive line and scored.

considering it was his first game at fullback he did ok. His positioning will improve he's already a great ball runner he just needs some ball playing ability and I reckon he will be fine.
