Hey guys

Solid hit out tonight by the boys. Was happy to hear both Anasta and Ennis proclaim excitedly,”we’re back” in the post game analysis

It’s nice to know that deep down the boys do have a soft spot for the club and their harshness towards us the past few seasons seemingly has come from a place of hurt

Hopefully I haven’t completely missed the mark here lol

Nah Ennis reckons he's sharks royalty because he spent a grand total of 2 years and won a comp.

I've changed my mind about Anasta over the past few seasons, thought he was a Roosters traitor but he has come out to bat for the dogs on a couple of occasions.

We are back, we’ve definitely improved in attack and defence, left edge looks very good too.

First lot of decent juniors in 20 years. Amazing what happens when you invest in pathways.

The Gus haters won’t see it because they are delusional trolls.

The key is going to be how we bring these guys through. There is one thing having a good crop of juniors. However selecting the right players to bring through at the right time is critical.

True mate, but I feel the difference here is we have Gould, he’s very good at selecting the right players to bring through, and he’s patient, he’s also very good at building specialist training schools to get them 1st grade ready .. he rarely loses the very good ones ..

Anasta only speaks very highly of the Dogs and solely left us because we didn’t offer him a contract. He accepts that’s just business but has highlighted his time with us shaped who he is, his successes and remain his fondest memories.

The improvement of junior development and pathways is the one thing the kennel has been in agreement of the last 12 months TBH

Ya, I don't get this narrative. I don't think I've seen anyone be critical about the work done with our juniors, I know I haven't.

Bro, everyone has been very supportive of Gus in regards to the junior development and the efforts he has personally taken to sign juniors. No one has been shitting on him regarding our junior development and pathways programs.

Sharks will be a good test, we faded around half time against them last season in the trials. Sharks have become a team in recent years that put us to the sword, in training session type victories.

Sharks and Storm are no mugs, they are well drilled no matter who fills in.
