All rejoiced in a Sabbath in the sun

SOURCE: By Josh Massoud From: The Daily Telegraph

DURING winter's darkest hour the young and bold Greenberg was visited upon by a celestial voice, which did boometh: "Build it and They will Come."

And the young and bold Greenberg did listen to these words from above and after many moons contemplation did agreeth with them.

And thus he did decideth to erect a throng so large that the Great Ark of Homebush would standeth proud again, unsmited never more by an odious tide of empty blue seats. He would build a crowd fit for a departing king, the prince of points El Masri, who doth compile conversions like a lusty earl collects maidens.

The young and bold Greenberg, he did racketh up a gargantuan mobile phone bill to spread the word. He did openeth the heavy gate to Bulldogs training and did allow the many humble scribes to come and speaketh with El Masri and make likeness of him with cameras.

Over seven days and seven nights, it continued. And the weary scribes did remark they had not seen such promotion since the days of the Roman circus. But they were happy still, because the young and bold Greenberg had nourished them with stories to fill the pages of reputed journals that rugby league doth rely to tell its gospel.

And so it spread far and wide until the Sabbath arrived in a blaze of azure sky and mercury unseasonably high. And the people they did respond to young and bold Greenberg, their numbers multiplying like loaves and fishes on the Sea of Galilee. When it was all finished, 42,000 of them had crammethed into the Ark of Homebush to farewell El Masri, the prince of points. Such a wondrous sight it did bringeth a tear to the eye of everyone inside, among them the high Priest of rugby league, the grey-haired Gallop, whose emotions became unkempt when Miley Cyrus did singeth over the PA system.

And thus the grey-haired Gallop nodded when the young and bold Greenberg told him of his wintry epiphany later that night: "Build it and They will come".

And no sooner did he start to thinketh about this Friday night, when it was ordained that the St George Illawarra Dragons would host the Parramatta Eels on the banks of Botany Bay. But what ark doth lie down Kogarah way?

To be sure, a tiny vessel capable of holding no more than 20,000 loyal subjects at a famous duel that might otherwise attract twice the number if it were by chance moved west to the Ark of Homebush. But the high and proud Dragon Doust did recoil at this suggestion when broached last week ago by his chunkiness of Castle Hill, Sir Osborne.

"Do you not thinketh your coffers would appreciate moving the game so that my blue and gold army may contribute to them by paying for admission rather than watching from afar?" his chunkiness Sir Osborne inquired.

"I thinketh not," the high and proud Doust replied.

His chunkiness Sir Osborne asked again. "Do you thinketh it's fair to lock the good people of Parramatta out of your citadel?"

And the high and proud Doust replied: "I thinketh only of winning."

And with that he did traverse the Princes Hwy and enter that great and venerable Taj Mahal to sip from the cup of Penfolds.

Upon news of this exchange reaching his Moore Park cloister, the grey-haired Gallop did shruggeth his shoulders and noddeth knowingly.

Rugby league hadeth one day in the sun, it was perhaps too much to expect another quite so soon.

This bloke has finally lost the ploteth. :whacky::whacky::whacky::whacky::whacky::whacky:

Blah blah blah
How do you come up with such dribble, each article dumber than the next Josh Massoud was asked, "I thinketh never" the little tool replied.
