Nasomotto is pricey but seriously hard core and cheaper than Creed (if you hunt around). So you should get a daily driver and save the speccy for speccy occasions. Plus you know why places like chemist warehouse etc are so cheap generally? Older stock. And older stock is generally not better stock.

Creed and Nasomotto has only a little bit of water in it if anything at all. All your Myer fragrances have up to 90% water. If you could get 100mL of a Myer fragrance without the water you'd be paying $100's as well. Is what it is. Get another daily driver.

Pre-IFRA formulas are worth decent coin, due to the restrictions on allergens used in them.

I have Creed Aventus and Green Irish Tweed. But after shelling out for Aventus I realised it didn't suit me. So what I've been doing of late is buying Sampler packs by Libertine (who distribute Creed here in Oz and a bunch of other high end ones). You then get about 10 x 2ml samplers to try, this is Parfum grade, not EdT so will last 24hours no problems. You can see what works for you and what doesn't. And then fork out the money, cos they are very expensive. You can't get a feel in stores with a quick spray and rub, so this way you are wearing it for hours and can get a good feel for it.

It is ones I would never have tried that work for me, that I get the most comments about. Like this- Tonka Cola | Shop Mancera Online | Libertine Parfumerie but via the samples I found I really like Creed Millesime Imperial, so I'll grab that next time I'm up for a change.
